Role: 7.5 tonne driver
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
Location: Croydon
Hours: Start time 6am.
Pay: £18.17 per hour / Overtime Pay: £25.28 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm contract
We are seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely and safe manner.
The Role:
- Home delivery driver
- 30 drops per shift - household items
- Driver mate to assist in load
- Heavy lifting involved
- Checking and completing paperwork
- Ensuring load is safe and secure
- Vehicle checks
Skills required
- Ability to deal face to face with clients and handle any initial queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Able to work in a busy, fast paced delivery time critical environment
- Ability to work independently with good team player skills
- Upholding company reputation and being an ambassador of the company brand
- Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required
- Be reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude
Experience:
- Driving: 1 year 7.5T or higher (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driving License (required)
- Driver CPC (required)
- Tachograph Card (required)
